Libyan elections by December 10; Jadhran attacks Ras Lanuf

A militia, led by Ibrahim Jadhran who opposes the army commanded by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, attacked the oil ports of Ras Lanuf. The attack by Jadhran’s militia caused “significant” damage to at least two storage tanks, He lost control of the oil crescent to Haftar’s forces in 2016. AP June 19, 2018

French President Emanuel Macron stressed in a phone call with Head of Government of National Accord (GNA) PM Fayez al-Sarraj the need to commit to the outcomes of the conference held in Paris on May 29 on the preparation of a constitutional basis for parliamentary and presidential elections by December 10.
